  • Windows Server Backup on Windows 2008 R2

    Good Morning,
Trying to get an understanding of Windows Server Backup. I currently have a backup job configured to just backup a data share on a server to 2 external USB drives configured as volumes. I have both of them configured in the job so that I can alternate them for backups and not have 2 jobs.

The 1st 2 backups worked great, full backups of the data share like I wanted. Since that time, it's only doing incremental backups. Is there a way that I can force Windows Backup Server to do Full backups on this share everytime? If not, can someone suggest a simple solution to backup similar to what I previously used with NTBackup.

Thanks in advance for your time!!!

It helps to explain what the Backup is doing and why, but not how to get my desired solution. I will take a look at the software recommended in the article.

      Thanks for the help!!!!
