  • Help on how Telnet into a Windows 2008 server

    I wanted access to the telnet service on my server. Actually I've installed the Telnet server role, and its working. I have also started the telnet service using the services.msc and changed Telnet to Auto. I have also added some users in my AD to the Telnet Users Group... when I tried on a client machine with the telnet adress; i entered the username and password correctly it brought back the reply : Invalid Handler.. what might be blocking my access... thanks.

    Not sure why you want to use telnet since it's highly unsecure but anyway, please review:
