  • Security database does not contain a trust account

I have just installed a new 2008 R2 RODC and 2008 R2 File/Printer server at my location. We have multiple 2008 DC's in our datacenter that are working fine. Here's the issue:

When creating shares on the new file server, i found that i couldn't query AD to add permissions for users/groups. After fiddling with DNS and making sure that server could connect to everything, i came across these errors on the new RODC.
The session setup from computer 'SERVER' failed because the security database does not contain a trust account 'SERVER$' referenced by the specified computer. I did some research on this, common answer was to re-join to the domain, which I did, but to no avail. Now i am seeing more clients from this site showing up with that same error in the event logs of the RODC. I can't imagine that it's a problem with the clients since they have been connecting fine with the DC's at our datacenter prior to this one being installed.

    Any suggestions?
