  • Windows 2008 Server problem (in VMware) with access

    Hi All

I have problem with my two new servers, which I installed on VMware ESXi.

One is 64bit, one is 32bit (for testing purpose). I joined them into Windows 2003 domain (in normal production environment). Unfortunatelly, I have really big problem to connect to these servers by Symantec BackupExec in order to backup these servers. Backup Exec remote agents are properly installed. Also we cannot connect to the MS SQL Express 2005 database, which is installed on one of the server.

In Symantec Backup Exec I still get error with access denied. I always use domain admin user to connect. With this user I can connect to all servers except with theese two (Win2k, Win2003). I tried almost all (turn off the firewall, disable UAC).

Can it be something with VMware user account? I have installed VMware only in environment, where is no physical domain controllers and all is working fine.

thanks a lot for all help
