  • Windows 2008 System Time

hi need your help, domain users when clicking on the system tray to display the calendar a message will auto pop up "You do not have the proper privilege level to change the System Time"

how to let users view the calendar but don't allow them to change? thanks for any ideas.

    Do they have Outlook installed?
    1 1 was a racehorse.
    2 2 was 1 2.
    1 1 1 1 race 1 day,
    2 2 1 1 2

got outlook installed, but it will be more accessible if just clicking on the system tray to display the calendar rather than going to outlook.

and in windows 2008 if i go to Computer Configuration-> Windows Settings->Security Settings->Local Policies->User Rights Assignment-> and click on Change the System Time, under the Change and System Time Properties Tab the "Add User or Group" and "Remove" button is disabled.

Any ideas on how to solve this? thanks..

Tell them to hover over the time and it'll show them the date.
