  • Password complexity in Windows Server 2008

    I did all this:
    1.run gpmc.msc (Group Policy Management)
    2.Expand Domain
    3.<Group Policy Objects> and select <Default Domain Policy>
    4.Expand:
    5.<Computer Configurations> <Policies> <Windows Settings> <Security Settings> <Account Policies> <Password Policy>
    6.Disable Password Complexity.

and when i run rsop.msc it says that Password Complexity is disabled but when i want to make new user with blank pass it just says password can't be updated:Password Complexity bla bla bla..

    any ideas?

Wrong policy, if you want blank passwords set the Minimum password length policy to 0.
