    Re: dns client from policy

You'll need to install and configure the DHCP role and configure the Scope options as per this article: http://windowsserver.trainsignal.com...ws-server-2008

      Thanks for the reply

i would change automatically oinly dns of client under policy
the client use a static ip address
      if i change
      Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Network/DNS Client
in the default policy for full domain what paremetr must i change ?
is this the true method ?

      thanks Alberto

        Re: dns client from policy

this should work indeed.. Since you are using static IP's this is the quickest way to override the static DNS ips that are configuerd on your XP clients.
But i would setup an DHCP environment.... more flexible
