  • RDP and NLM

I have a 2008 server that I can't connect to with older system via RDP like XP and Windows 2003. The 2008 server has the Remote Desktop NLM set and is grayed out so I can't switch it to a lower level.

Could this be a GPO issue? I can't seem to find this in any policy. The server is on a domain as a memember and I moved the server to a OU that has not policy setting and still no luck.

I'll give it try. The strange thing is I can't change the setting on the server to a less restrictive setting. The option on Server 2008 is grayed out, I'm not sure why it's grayed. Do you know if there is a way in the Policy manager that would set NLM so it can't be changed?
