  • Windows Storage Server 2008

We have two 2003 storage servers currently. One at the primary DC and one at the secondary, with the primary replicating to the secondary over our WAN link, and the DFS namespaces using both in the replication sets.

Now we're evaluating an upgrade to 2008, and enabling the servers to act as gateways to our iSCSI SAN's.

In the process, we are also looking to make the two new storage servers into a geo-cluster, but are wondering how the iSCSI SAN would work as they are seperate right now, but with SAN-to-SAN copying.
