  • Export of user data from AD

Does anyone know of a script that will export from AD?

I need to export the following:

username, fullname, group membership and email aliases. Would love to be able to get phone number, office location too.

    I appreciate any help.

    Thanks,

    Tim

    Hi,

Look at the Dsquery, dsget built in command line utilities.

Based on your other posts about separating domains, you might also look at CSVDE or LDIFDE as that will do more than just export.
However - I suspect you may already have looked at ADMT (if not, do so) as it would be more suited to the separation task, if that's what this query is about

ADMT would be great but I still have a problem of not being able to see this other new domain on the same LAN.

I have made the new server (Windows 2008 R2) so that network map / view is enabled but still nothing. Just can't see that domain.

www. wisesoft. co. uk has a great freeware tool called Bulk AD Users that does exports, too.
