  • Joing 2008 server to 2003 Domain...

I'm adding a 2008 Server with Exchange 2007 to my 2003 Domain. do I have to do anything to add it to the domain or do I just simply join it to the 2003 domain and then make it a DC?

If its a member server, no
If its to be a DC, you will need to run adprep from the 2008 media
    http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...meta=&aq=f&oq=

But ask yourself -- why do you need it to be a domain controller -- although easier with Exch 2007 it is still (AFAIK) against MS Best Practice -- Keep Exchange on Member Servers only

What do you mean by "with Exchange 2007"???

Are you moving a server that has Exchange on it between domains? If the answer is yes, my answer is that you should re-think your moves, as this cannot be done.
