  • Folder Rename problem like in Vista

    Hi all,

I have a strange problem, On my Citrix server no user even the administrator can change the name of a Folder.

Like the problem with windows vista.

    http://forums.petri.com/showthread.p...rename+problem

I allready tried this fix but itīs for vista. Also it doesnīt work on windows 2008.

I do not get an error message nor an event.

i trie to rename a folder from New Folder to Test, as soon as i hit enter it just changes back to New Folder.

    Can anyone help me?

        Ok, i solved the problem.

It seems that in the Registry

        "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList"

        The Public was gone.

        After manually entered:

        Public with value data: %SystemDrive%\Users\Public

        The problem was solved....
