  • Need help for FC on W2k8 using software iSCSI

In my testlab I'm trying to make two node failover cluster on W2k8 Enterprise x64 which are member servers. I'm trying to use Openfiler as iSCSI device.
I configured Openfiler, connect LUNs with W2k8 using iSCSI initiator, logical drives are visible in disk management console, I can format drives, assign drive letter... almost everything works OK.
Then I tried to test nodes for failover clustering. In that moment drives went offline, test failed and colud not bring them back on.
I went to Openfiler forum and found that Openfiler is not compatible with W2k8 in case of FC.
I used Openfiler when I was testing with ESX 3.5 and it worked ok, but in this case, I'm stuck
Does anyone have any recommendation which software iSCSI to use for my testing purposes?

Well if it isn't compatible with Windows 2008, what do you expect what we kan do for you?

        I dig something out:
        StarWind iSCSI Target
But it's not free product for my testing needs

          Hi,
If the problem that you are facing is solely because of an iSCSI device, then
have tried StarWind as an iSCSI device. There is an evaluation version available for 30 days also. You may try that.
