    Hi,

I've Windows Server 2008 64BIT on Dell Poweredge 2950.and i've this error in the event viewer

While transmitting or receiving data, the server encountered a network error. Occassional errors are expected, but large amounts of these indicate a possible error in your network configuration. The error status code is contained within the returned data (formatted as Words) and may point you towards the problem.

i've update the NIC with the latest driver, replace the switch, replace the network cable that connect to the switch and still have this error in the event viewer.

my users suffers that they disconnect from the shared folders in this server.
what i can do to resolve this issue?
    THX

Sorry, it was more for info.

Do you have TCP4 large send offload disabled?
Is the card speed and duplex set or auto, does it match the switch?
Have you tried the second card too on the server?
        cheers
