  • No GPO links in ADUC after upgrade (was: group policy)

after upgrading from 2003 server to 2008 , domain group policy doesn't exist.
when I open properties of a certain OU the group policy tab is not there.
tried mmc to ad group policy object editor but users tab is not there also.
    any suggestions.

    Re: group policy

Windows server 2008 has the GPMC.msc (group policy management console) by default. You can find in through the GUI or type GPMC.MSC in the run/command box.

      2 things:

1st - If you've been using Windows 2003 and you still don't know about GPMC - please check your knowledge sources, because it's clear that you lack some crucial understanding about what tools to use to manage your domain.

2nd - Choosing the right thread topic is no less important than writing the question.
