  • Lost access to Group Policy

ok guys, I have denied authentucated users from reading the policy
here is the correct permissions for all my policies

    Name Allowed Permissions Inherited
NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users Read (from Security Filtering) No
NT AUTHORITY\ENTERPRISE DOMAIN CONTROLLERS Read No
NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM Edit settings, delete, modify security No
SUPERGRP\Domain Admins Edit settings, delete, modify security No
SUPERGRP\Enterprise Admins Edit settings, delete, modify security No

How do i get that permissions back so that my domain controller will see that policy again.

I have tried creating a new one, and copy the old folders to the new policy all i get is the Adminitrative templates information.

    Please assist

Re: Lost access to Group Policy

Like NTFS permissions, you should have an option to take the ownership on the GPO via security -> advanced settings, and then setup correct security settings or delete the GPO.
Also, Dont remove any permissions to "authentucated users" group if you dont know what it do.
