  • Hiber mode

    Hi folks,

I would like to ask you about one little problem. In our company is small net with one domain server and one database server and about 25 PCs. Some of them are workstations, and some of them are notebooks. I have applyed new GPO on domain server for setup Nod32 configuration (enabling remote administration on specified server and port), but this GPO has not been aplyed on them, because users don't shut down their notebooks, just only use hibernation mode.

Is there any way to apply this startup script on non re-started PCs ?
All notebooks has windows XP SP2 installed. Domain is on Windows 2000 Server standart.
Or second choice, to force restart after going from hibermode ?

    Re: Hiber mode

You can run shudown.exe command to force reboot.
You should review NOD32 corp. edition help files to find out correct
    deployment of this antivirus.
Also, why not to send a note to everyone to reboot there computers or/and
disable using standby/hiber mode via GPO?
    Best Regards,
