  • DNS Issue

    we are using windows 2000 server as DC and clients are XP Professsional and 2000 professional ,after performing some trouble
    shooting in DNS and we delete both Zones of DNS and (unfortunately we dont have any ADC) later we recreated the forward and reverse look up zone and its found that the DNS Records (_msdcs,_sites,_tcp,_udp) are not created.

    we use the support tools like,netdiad /fix ............but cant be able to fix the pblm...what next????How to solve this issue???? my id:::: [email protected]

      Every DC should have a file called Netlogon.dns that contains all the dns entries needed for that domain controller. You can find this file in %systemroot%\System32\Config\Netlogon.dns
