    I installed a Ris server w2k as domain controller and setup Dns etc and it`s working ok, but when it comes to install the clients (booting from a floppy) the client is getting an ip but it cant find TFTP server
    Pls help me

    Have you set the DHCP scope option number 66 (Boot server host name) to the IP address of your RIS server?

    Do you have RIS set to respond to all clients?

    Do you have a network switch between your server and client? If so try changing it for a hub or if you know how to turn off spanning tree protocol then do that.

      I was using a switch and now change for a old time hub, and guess what?
      It all started to work

        BTW i had the same issue and it turned out to be problems with Spanning Tree Protocol on my switch.
