  • Problems after Slipstreaming Hotfixes

Everything works fine when I slipstreamed the hotfixes for office 2003 pro a few months ago. But when users try to update via office.microsoft.com or automatic updates (WSUS) it says you need the administrative version of this update due to previously installed administrative updates or with automatic updates it just fails to install.

How can I avoid this and still have the updates slipstreamed ?

    Re: Problems after Slipstreaming Hotfixes

That's one of the issues with slipstreaming Office patches. You'll need to perform the update through the Microsoft Update site, or d/l the hotfix from the corresponding web page, then manually install it on the machine, or use a login script to install it on multiple machines.
