  • List of ALL Windows events?

    Folks,

    quick question:
Does somebody have a COMPLETE list of Windows events?
I am trying to set up an attack detection matrix for Windows systems, based on event analysis.

    Thanks

    Regards

I don't think that even Microsoft has one... LOL

Try www.eventid.net for a good database.

I have one. I don't know how complete it is and I can't even remember where I acquired it from. It is in Excel csv format, 710k in size. It can be obtained from here: http://www.naps.net.au/oddsnends/event_log_errors.csv

I hope it is of some use.

        List of ALL Windows events?

        Thanks a lot.

M$ has a pretty good database. But you need to know the event ID to search.
