  • Windows 2003 Server - Print problems

    I have domain with 2 domain controllers.
    PDC = AD + DNS + DHCP (Windows 2003 SP1)
    Additional Domain Controller = replica AD , DNS , Print Server, File Server (Windows 2003 SP1)

    One or twice a day the printers seem to freeze up. Print jobs still come into the server's spooler but they stop printing to printer itself. The services are not stopped, but if I stop and start the Print Spooler service (including TCP/IP Print Server) ;
    printing resumes normal.

    Before I ran with one DC and had no problems. Sinds I have the second DC (additional dc) I have print Problems.
    Can someone help me please?

      I am having the same problem. I turned off the secondary domain controller and printing continued to print with no problems. I am suggesting to setup a clustered print server. I will update my post when I have implemented this task.
