    Hi,
    Anyone got a link to a tutorial that tells you how to create and use certificates localy without a 3rd party CA?

    Also,
    this is a post I made regarding a problem I have:

      Well thats a pretty general question... But I think what you are talking about is this.

      You don't want to have to pay a company like verisign to make a certificate. If I'm wrong let me know

      If what I think you are talking about is correct then you should look into openssl. openssl is free because, well... it's open source. If you need more help I'd be glad to offer any advice I have. Heck Ill make a cert for you if you cant figure it out.

        AFAIK, openssl is for unix with perl and I dont know nothing of those.
        What I need is a certificate for ipsec comunication between 2 windows xp's.
        even if u give me one, i'm not sure how to use it in ip sec.
