  • Windows 2003 IIS6.0 MS-FTP

I am using Windows 2003 server IIS 6.0 for hosting web sites and FTP services
so that Users directly updates their web site. I need to know whether can we put any restrictions in FTP like:
(1). File should not be uploaded if the size is more than 5 MB
(2). Only selected type of files (extensions) should be allowed to upload.
can we put the above restrictions in MS-FTP?.
my mail address is : [email protected]

    1. File should not be uploaded if the size is more than 5 MB- you will need third party tool to allow this. There option to change the settings via Metadata of the IIS but I dont recommanded to do this.

    2. Only selected type of files (extensions) should be allowed to upload - Win 2003 R2 allow to sry this limitation.

I think that using third party product for FTP server would help you more.
