  • Office XP SP3 Slipstreaming

    Hello!

Does the guide for Office XP SP1/2 Slipstreaming, also works for slipstreaming SP3? Or maybe there are some different and/or additional steps need to be performed?

    Thanks!

As it happens, I've just uploaded the revised guide:

    (same URL)

    Check it out.

      Slipstreaming SP3

Followed Mr. Petri's article to the letter, with no problem. The instructions were really easy to follow. However, I ended up with 883 Mbs instead of the expected 620. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Did you perform the administrative installation with SETUP /A?

Ok, any other information you'd like to share with us? What version of Office are you using?
            Cheers,

              Slipstream SP3

              I'm using Office 2002. Instead of running x:\setup /a, ya ran x:\setuppro /a. I ended up with the following files: SETUPPRO.EXE, SETUPPLS.EXE, README.HTM, PROPLUS.MSI, OWC10.MSI, OFFICE1.CAB, INSTMSIW.EXE, INSTMSI.EXE and AUTORUN.INF. Also a folder called "FILES". Hope this helps!
