  • vmWare - xp to 2003 simple log-on

    Hi,
    i have vmWare.
    i have 2 virtual machines.
    win2003 & xpPro.
    i just want to log-on into the 2003 domain with the xp.
    so i joined the domain restarted the xp machine - but i can't log to it, hmm...

    Set static IP to the computer and verity that its isnt use in the LAN and you can point the DC.
    Also, point the client to the DC as its DNS server.

      static IP to which virtual machine? (or to the pc itself?)

        Static IP to your PC and to you Vmware virtual machine.
        Also, please note that each infratrcure server (e.g. DNS/DHCP/DC etc.)
        require static IP in a real network.
