  • net time out of the domain

    Hi to all

our process in the factory is that the all computers forma a specific company run prestest and runin .. for refurfish process get completed. so

actually we use windows 2000 pdc but it is damage and we'll migrated to a 2003 server in the next weeks.

in the pretest process the computer need to run net time for synchronize the proper time with the pdc .. but this last days we try to use this command in windows 2003 (pdc) but it rejected the instruction .. .

in fact we need to synchornize the time with the clients out of the domian with PDC..

actually with windows 2000(PDC) we use the following instruction without problems

    "net time \\[server ip address ] /set /yes"

some support pages that we founded said that modify some registry and after we did it doesn't work ..
    any suggestions ??

    thanks for take your time..
    Regards

Could you give us a hint which "some registry" you modified -- from what and to what?
