yes.. tsweb normally works out of the box.
try accessing it remotely, by it's hostname, instead of locally.

    would also consider reinstalling TSWeb

I have reinstalled 3-4 times. It just does not work rather my IIS stops working on resinstallation.Server2003R2 can be strange sometimes. When you say try access it remotely, what does it mean?Should I go with a windows7 remote machine and type http://terminal.domain.com/tsweb thats what you mean by accessing it by hostname.

Since resinatallation is not an option, what could I do? The specific error is 401.1 invalid credential.I have changed the IUSR credentials on website annonymous access tab but it just does not work
I tried to logon to IIS hosting server locally without domain and it still gives same problem
Do I need a domain service account?

does work in nondomain, does not work in non domain. Deny access to this computer from network policy is enabled in gpo to deny access to guest account. Also the creator owner does not have the full access to the drive/folder in domain environment may be thats causing some problem.I will look into 2003 loop back adapter thing too. if you already know any else preventing it,please post it here.I will update for these GPO once I make sure may be these settings are preventing in domain environment
