  • Current security setting so not allow this action

When I attempt a right click on a file on a shared folder I receive the message "your current security setting so not allow this action" This is on a W2ksp2 and is a DC. I can go to two different DCs, and have no problems opening any files in the same shared folder. I am logged on as the same System Administrator on all three servers. The file is in a folder two deep from the parent folder.

Are you accessing the share "as a share" (via a UNC path or mapped drive) or directly on the server?
If on the server, how are you connecting (Remote desktop or directly on the console)?

Does this apply when doing ANY right click actions?

It is a mapped drive and it now appears that the issue is only on "zip" files.
