  • How to use NTBACKUP

I tried to use ntbackup to make a full system backup( Windows 2000 adv server & windows 2003 server standard) but failed.

Files & system state could be backuped successfully to a file in harddisk, but when I do the restore, it failed.

Firstly I re-installed a windows as normally and config it as same as the old system.

Then I ran the ntbackup to restore the system states and files. choose the do not subsitute option.

After restore completed, the system required a reboot, but when I reboot it, the system could not recognize the keyboard and mouse, and it lost almost drivers for hardware.

    What's wrong?
