Without much more information we cannot really help
Your best bet is to get a good consultant to examine your environment and requirements and plan a customised solution for you.

In general, however, it is best not to use child domains unless you have a specific requirement for different password policies and/or separation of administrative duties.

How many student in your college and secondly, remember the KISS rule.
      1 1 was a racehorse.
      2 2 was 1 2.
      1 1 1 1 race 1 day,
      2 2 1 1 2
