  • Systate Backup issue - Registry Permissions

    Hello,

We have an old 2000 advance server which is a TS server too but we are having a few issues which I think are down to registry permissions. I cannot preform a systate backup as we get the below message.

Error: You do not have permission to access portions of System State\Registry\default.

I have tried to reset the permissions on the registry as per the below but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Has anyone got any suggestions I could look at?

    Much appreciated,
    Simon
    Kind Regards,
    Simon

    Hi,

Yes,it has terminal service for the clients.

Sorry for the late reply,we had about 50 thin clients are connected to terminal service of the server.

Its IBM server contains 8 core of 2.0 ghz each,16 GB Ram , Raid storage 500 gb,1Giga byte NIC,

My query is whether desktop with ads login consume server resources?

    Tks in advance.
