  • local ntp server - where is it?

For the management console (in fact all blade servers are getting time and date from there) I have to include the address of local net servers. I have some linux and several MS Windows 2003 servers (all are in domain) overthere. Ok, I have one DC which are in fact PDC.

Can I use my PDC as local ntp server?
How can I see by using netstat that I have ntp server on that particular server?
Can I install some free software to act as ntp server?

with your windows servers, if they are part of the domain, they should just keep up to date anyway..

As said if they are members of a domain then they will get time from the PDC emulator.

In our org i have my PDC emulator picking up time from an external time source then all other clients get it from it.
