  • Take Ownership of multiple objects at once

    Hi all,

I've used the "search" facility on this forum but couldn't find anything of help. Basically I have a small network of 20 machines (XP + 2000 Pro) and a W2K3 Standard as DC.

They users logon to the domain and a drive is mapped (through logon script)and their "My documents" are redirected to a location on the server. I want to have access to their "My Documents". I know that I need to take ownership of their folders, but considering that I have multiple users (around 100) right now I need therefore to find a way, probably through AD, to Take Ownership on multiple objects at once.

Comments and advice are very much appreciated!!!

    Cheers!!!

I would presume that all your users folders are in a proper sturucture.

If they are then all you should need to do is to take ownership of the top level folder.

Why do you need to take ownership of the folders??
