  • Keeping sharenames when changing to new domain

    Baffled on this one.

I have a Windows 2003 Std Ed server logging onto a NT4 domain.
It is used as a file server with approx 300 shares.
Various users have access to the same folders which make writing down these shares with all their permissions very difficult.
This machine must be transfered onto the new Server 2003 Domain with Active Directory.
I need to extract a list of all the shares currently on the server for recreation when the transfer to new domain is complete.
How can I do this for each drive and each directory??
    Help much appreciated.
    Thank you

Take a look at File Server Migration Toolkit: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserv...ocs/msfsc.mspx
