I have Windows Server 2003 setup on a computer with active directory/domain controller. The problem is that the DC isn't listed under the domain in Network Places and therefore, other computers cannot browse the shared information on the server (folders and printer). The DC isn't listed under the domian in the Network Places on the server computer itself. The client computers successfully connect to the domain to login without any problem. The shared information is accessible from all computers, if you directly input the UNC for the folder/printer. You just cannot browse the DC because it isn't listed under the domain. I've checked and the DC is not hidden. What other settings effect whether the DC is listed under the domain? Thanks.
