  • How do I set up a Windows active/passive cluster?

    Hello,

I'm a little novice about Microsoft clustering. My issue is, we have 2 DHCP servers (Win 2003 Ent X64 SP2) clustered active/passive (done by someone else before long). These servers we're gonna move to new VMAX storage, so the existing partitions + clustering will be removed.

After promoting the new LUNs, I should reconfigure the clustering. Please share with me the right method to re-configure MS Clustering.

    Thanks in advance

tbh, for DHCP only, I would use a split scope (50/50 or 80/20 rule) and avoid all the hassles of clustering.

I would better like to know how to set up a failover clustering, as it's what I need to do right now!

Er... do you have a clue what clustering is?
