  • How to run scripts when logged on from outside AD

    Hi Experts
I need help. In our organization we have windows 2003 ad. with shared folders
some of our employs will access the server by connecting \\server. some of them access the server when they logged as logon locally on client machine and some machines are authenticated when they try to access \\server.

Now my requirement is when they are authenticated can we run a logon script or how do we know from which username they are logged

    Thanks in Advance

Logon scripts apply when a user logs on to a computer, not connects to a resource.

You will need to enable object access auditing which will log who has connected to a resource in the security log on the target server.

(A bit more to it than that, but will get you all you need)
