  • raise domain level

    Hi all

    i have active directory 2003 interim level(upgrade from nt4)

i still have some windows nt4 domain members on my organization and another nt4 domain with data raplicatation(most of the data is sql ) with the 2003 domain.
i dont have trust or any directory relationship between the two domains.

i want to raise the domain level to 2003 mode so i can install exchange 2010 on my network and in the future upgrade the the domain to 2008 .

    my questions is:

1.can i work with the nt4 member server after i'll raise the domain level?
2.can i raplicate end transfer data end sql data between the tow domains after the raising?

    thanks for the answer

    Re: raise domain level

Member servers are no problem -- its only DCs that affect the FL

As long as you provide credentials in the "other" domain replication should work -- a trust will remove the need for credentials
