    Dear all,

I have problem with my domain server. Everytime when I restart server, after few minutes server froze and only thing I can do is to switch off on power button and start again. I notice this errors in log :

I used DCDIAG and there is no any kind of errors...

Any idea on how to resolve this?

    Re: DNS and NTFRS ERRORS

    is the dns service running?
Are there any other domain controllers in your network?
the sysvol event is not of concern - it's actually telling you that sysvol has started running.
    when did the problem start
what happened just before the problem started
what have you done apart from running dcdiag

      Re: DNS and NTFRS ERRORS

      Thanks for reply,

      -Yes DNS is running,
-There are no other domain controllers in network,
-Problem starts when server is restarted,

There is no any other errors in log so I dont know what happens before problem starts.

        Re: DNS and NTFRS ERRORS

check your startup order - perhaps the AD services are starting before the DNS services.

I've seen this before, particularly on SBS servers

          Re: DNS and NTFRS ERRORS

Let's clarify this a little bit. Is the server fine every time you shut it down and turn it on again (a cold boot) and freezes if you just do a restart?

            Both options (shutdown and restart).
