  • ISA Server Issue

    Hi All

I have recently removed ISA server from a server and now I keep getting event id 454 and 439 and they are constantly repeating with

services (34 Unable to write a shadowed header for file C:\Program Files\Microsoft ISA Server\sdb16.sdb.

How do I rectify this please?

    thanks in advance

Yep and it mentions nothing about ISA server errors!

        Re: ISA Server Issue

Is it possibly an error from another application which is (for example) making backups, and has a fixed list of files, and this file hasn't been taken out ... Does the time of your event entries co-incide with another timed task (or are they happening all day everyday...)

          Re: ISA Server Issue

The error can come from local policy changes or you can use mikemcsharry tip for checking third party tools errors.
Also, after the ISA uninstall - did you reboot the server?

              Re: ISA Server Issue

Run "msocnfig" and disable all the start oprions.
Also, check that there no unknown services and then reboot.
Please copy the list of software that run on this server to the forum &
update us if the restart now help.

              Thanx
