  • Scheduled Task and NT Authority\System

    Hi,

I'm having an issue getting a Scheduled Task to run in Win2k3 R2. The task runs under the NT Authority\System account and at the set time the process starts (it can be seen in Task Manager) but then nothing further happens.

To test further I've created another task to launch Calculator.exe and I get a similar result; calc.exe can be seen in the process list but Calculator does not appear on the screen.

Tasks start and run as expected when using alternate credentials so I believe it must be to do with the NT Authority\System account.

If anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated.

    Thanks
