  • Data folder has changed to the Recycling bin.

    I have an NTFS folder on a Win2K3 SP2 R2 server:

    D:\DEPT_DATA\Sales\_Sales Team Leaders

In Windows Explorer, the icon is that of the Recycling Bin, and if you right-click the folder and click Properties, you get the screenshots below.

Is it possible to change the folder back to a normal folder? I've noticed that there is another folder with the same issue on the same drive.

Note that "DIR *." does not show the folders.

Nah, tried that- the folder name had not changed (even when all file attributes were set to visible in Windows Explorer).

We actually had to use attrib -r -h -s and it seems to have fixed the issue!! Thanks for your help.
