  • Windows 2003 Licensing

    Guys 'n' Gals,

Does anyone have a decent website for Windows 2003 licensing. I understand the terminal services aspect (http://www.brianmadden.com/content/content.asp?id=154) but not too sure where we stand with regards to windows 2000 and XP clients. Latest I heard was that XP contains the CAL for windows 2003 but windows 2000 doesn't.

Can anyone provide a link with a definitive answer.

I need to work out whether we need to purchase any CALS or not when we upgrade to 2003

    Thanks

    Michael

I think that the only offical answer can come from Microsoft. Please contact your region account manager in Microsoft.
If you dont have account manager, then you should get one
