Please review (including the ms document) http://blog.nessus.nl/486/installing...-windows-2008/

It's a pain in the ass to install this product.
Anyhow, install more CPU's, more RAM and add more diskspace.
Second, check that your SQL services ar set the automatic using services.msc

              Yups I know.
I'm running this product on our ESX servers into our lab. It took me a long time before I managed to install it.

                  Re: forefront client security

After getting everything up and working i decided to run the updates on the host server. Bad idea. Internet exploer stopped working and the mmc for FCS will not load. i get the error (FX:{f337d96e-45c1-4106-88b1-e417a7703d6b}) MS has a hotfix for it but when i click to download it MS gives me an error saying try again later.

Hmmm I'm not touching my FCS server anymore until the new edition is released...

Hopefully MS do a better job with it. Right now, it is updating the definitions and errr, im cool with that...
