  • Manage "Remote Desktop Users Group" Rights

    Hi guys!


    I want to give rights in active directory to a group to remotely connect to certain groups of computers.
    example : I want John to connect only to Retail_PC's and Marketing_PC's
    and Mark to connect to Finance_PC's. We have server 2003 standart.
    Help me out plz !

        Put the computers into OUs by function
        Put the users into groups
        Create separate GPOs for each OU to give only the correct groups membership of the local "Remote Desktop Operators" group

        How much experience do you have with AD management and group policies? -- you may want to bring a consultant into the process
