  • How.to.check.if.RPC.is.enabled

    Hi

Environment: Windows 2003 AD with XP clients.

I recently check my DCs I got this error from Application Event log on one of the domain controller. It is

"Replication of license information failed because the License Logging Service on server dc2.ad.msft could not be contacted."

I went through help and found this MS article

Ping, Remote Desktop, and DNS work. The license service is also running on all of the DCs There's no Windows firewall. I would like to know how to check to make sure that the network group didn't accidentally disable RPC.

    Thank you

The license server on the DC is up and running? Is the DC configured as site license manager (via AD Sites and Services)?
