  • Web Server on Windows 2003

    Hello,

We have 3 image servers running on Windows 2003 standart 32 bit.
Tehre about 500 000 pictures 50kb - 1Mb. Pictures are watermarket everytime when they are displayed I I would like to know what can i do for performance boosting. I woul like to use RAM as cache, there is no problem to change Windows to 64bit edition. But I dont know how to prepare cache to use RAM. I read this manual

    http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro....mspx?mfr=true

There is MemCacheSize which can be only 2500Mb in its size.

Is there another solution how to use more RAM for caching?

May be Application Routing Request byt it wil use HDD cache and data will be duplicated...

Please can anybody help me to find any sollution?
    Thanks

Could you add the watermark in a pre-runned job and just show readily watermarked files in the web site instead of marking them on the fly?

What kind of data you have that shows there is a performance issue?

What technology is used to add the watermark?
