  • How to restrict login to server by other login name than domain admin?

    Hello,

I have 1 simple print server with Windows Server 2003 on it.
    It's a member of domain.
Doesnt hold any FSMO role or AD role.
I want to restrict users to login to that PC by physically going to workstation and login.
How can I do that setting?
I tried to explorer gpedit.msc but failed to locate that option.
How can I do that settings?
I only want domain admin to be able to login to that workstation.

    Regards,
    Amey.

Easiest way is to put it into an OU of its own and use restricted groups to remove all but domain admins from local administrators and users
Alternatively, user rights (comp config, windows settings, security settings, local policies) could be used

      Thanks for quick reply.

Just a bit confused how can I use 1st option?

I am now going to try 2nd option from gpedit.msc from my AD.
I have created a seaprate OU for that print server.
