  • Changing DC DNS Remotely

    I have a DC with windows 2000 server that i cant log on to because of incorrect DNS, is it possible/how to change the primary DNS with netsh remotely?

    Can you not log on via the IP address then?

      netsh -r <remotecomputer> connects to a remote system, but I don't know if Win 2000 is supported. Check Petri out for DNS syntax.

        You can try to login as local administrator to change DNS setting
